What is SIF? "SIF" stands for "Středoevropský Institut Filosofie" ("The Central-European Institute of Philosophy"). The Institute promotes philosophy and transdisciplinary research. It achieves its goals through a specific curriculum and research, emphasizing the transdisciplinary and intercultural aspects and international cooperation. Furthermore,it hosts workshops and conferences,participates in several publishing activities and promotes the exchange of students and professors.

Journée d’études organisée par la Faculté des sciences humaines de l’Université Charles de Prague, le programme Erasmus Master Mundus EuroPhilosophie et dans le cadre du projet de recherche « Relevance of the Subjectivity » mené à bien par le Département de philosophie continentale contemporaine de l’Institut de philosophie de l’Académie des
sciences de la République tchèque.
Argumentaire
Nous trouvons chez Levinas une théorie originale de la subjectivité enracinée dans la sensibilité qui s’achève en tant que subjectivité humaine par la responsabilité éthique. Dans l’oeuvre de Levinas qui représente une innovation essentielle de la pensée phénoménologique, on peut distinguer plusieurs phases où le rapport entre l’égoïsme de la jouissance de la vie corporelle « athée » et la signifiance éthique de l’un-pour-l’autre s’articulent de différentes manières. Nous constatons à ce propos une évolution de sa pensée allant d’une relative autonomie de la subjectivité sensible vers sa quasiintégration dans l’événement an-archique de la signifiance éthique qui porte la subjectivité chez le dernier Levinas. Outre cet axe phénoménologique des questions liées à la subjectivité incarnée, on trouve également chez Levinas des réflexions qui ouvrent sur d’autres dimensions de la condition humaine, telles que l’art, la politique, la religion.

Das Kolloquium intendiert die erste größere Auseinandersetzung mit der Rolle der Phänomenologie im Denken von Hans Blumenberg (1920-1996). Blumenbergs anthropologische und metaphorologischen Schriften sowie seine Arbeiten zur Theorie der Moderne reihen sich ein in ein gelehrtes und vielseitiges Werk, das Grundthemen immer wieder aufgreift und rekontextualisiert. In diesen Arbeiten zum Problem der menschlichen Selbstbehauptung gegenüber den sich ihr entgegensetzenden Absolutismen entfaltet Blumenberg seine Methode einer eidetischen Deskription der elementaren Sicht der Wirklichkeit, die er als „historische Phänomenologie“ bezeichnet und in deren Zentrum der Wirklichkeitsbegriff sowie die Lebenswelt stehen.
